Hooch is a handsome, 75lb. Staffordshire terrier lap dog who will be your very best friend and we guarantee he will make you laugh daily! He has a huge, goofy personality and loves to please his people. Hooch thrives off structure/routine and loves to have fun with training! He is house-trained, kennel trained, excellent on leash, and has wonderful basic training skills. Hooch is looking for a home where he will be the only dog, or with the right applicant, in a home with another male dog that is larger than him. He truly loves dogs, but has a prey drive with smaller dogs, and struggles with resource guarding. He does best with other dogs when in a neutral environment. He is also fond of cats and does well with the two in his foster home. A home with dog-savvy cats may also be considered with the right applicant. Hooch is the best, squishy-faced boy who truly deserves an amazing family to help him live his best dog life!
**Due to past issues that resulted in Hooch getting returned after previously being adopted as a puppy, any new adopter(s) will be required to provide updates on Hooch's care and progress. Please be aware of any breed restrictions in your area!** His adoption fee is $250. Apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet him!All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $100 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
