Oak Creeks Irish Golden Mountain Dog is a cross between a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog, and an Irish Golden Retriever. So they are typically 50% Bernese Mountain Dog, 25% Golden Retriever, and 25% Irish Setter. Since our hybrid puppies have the advantage of being a mixed breed with excellent genetic diversity, they have a reduced risk of the genetic diseases that can be found in purebred puppies. With outstanding hybrid vigor and rigorous genetic testing and OFA testing of their parents, they have an improved prospect for a long health life and can be expected to live longer than a purebred puppy of the same breeds.
