Humans and dogs respond very differently to drugs, so this is why veterinarians remind dog owners not to make decisions alone. However, as long as certain human drugs are used appropriately, they can be safely used in dogs. Most important, you should always consult a veterinarian before giving your dog medication.

Hello ! This Is Eggnog!

Hi there, we are a 7-pack of tiny Chihuahua mix puppies born on 4/19/24, to a little 10 lb Chihuahua mix named Meadow. She was dumped with a group of many little Chihuahuas, all left in a muddy field on the outskirts of San Antonio Texas. Thankfully someone heard their yelps for help and posted on social media and several rescues saved everyone. Meadow was already expecting and living in a foster home when we were born, so we have had very nice care and are now ready to be adopted! My name is Eggnog, I’m a girl, and I am the tiniest puppy in the litter, weighing in at only 2.1 lbs. I love to be held and give kisses, and just like a little parrot, my favorite perch is right on top of my foster mom's shoulder. I'm happy and playful but mostly want to be cuddled. My foster mom says I am a major lovebug! I get along great with all humans, dogs, and a kitty cat who lives with me. I’m looking forward to life on the East Coast and ready to meet whoever adopts me! LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION? Click on the "More About 4 Little Paws" link. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
